Fabian´s Interview im Reflectmagazin
Freunde des Nu Rave und der elektrischen Tanzmusik aufgepasst! Nächste Woche, am Donnerstag den 10.09.09 startet die Veranstaltungsreihe "Young Guns Club" im Rocker33. Wir haben für euch den Veranstalter Fabian Braunbeck zu dem neuen Event befragen können.
Wie kamst du auf die Idee eine neue Eventreihe im
Rocker33 zu organisieren? Und wie entstand der
Name "Young Guns Club"?
Die Idee entsand in Zusammenarbeit mit dem Rocker33.
Diese gaben mir die Möglichhkeit donnerstags ein
Event bzw Abend zu realisieren. Ich gab dem Abend
den Namen "Young Guns Club", da ich aus dem Surf
,Skate und Snowboardsport komme und junge Talente
oder Newcomer in diesem Bereich gerne "Young Guns"
genannt werden. Ich fand die Idee somit ideal um damit
an besagten Donnerstagen jungen, lokalen DJs die möglichkeit
zu geben aufzulegen!
Warum braucht Stuttgart eine weitere Veranstaltungsreihe?
Stuttgart braucht eigentlich keine... es is ja auch eher ein
Abend der zwischen lockerer und harter Party sein wird
um auf das eigentliche Wochenende vorzubereiten!
Auf welche Musikrichtung dürfen wir uns freuen?
Hip Hop, Urbane Electro Mugge, Clash.
Wen soll der YGC ansprechen?
Eigentlich jeden, der Nu Rave und Hip Hop mag und
gerne hört... Wer dann noch das Rocker33 leiden kann
ist bei uns richtig!
Was bedeutet der neue Donnerstag für die
Stuttgarter Szene und in wie fern denkst du wird er
das Nachtleben im Kessel beeinflussen? Was erhoffst du dir?
Ich denke für die Szene heisst es erstens die Möglichkeit
den Donnerstag endlich zu einem guten Ausgehtag zu
machen... Ich hoffe, dass es dazu kommen wird! Stuttgart
feiert gern, also geben wir der Stadt die Möglichkeit
einen Tag mehr dafür zu nutzen.
Drei Adjektive für den "Young Guns Club":
Jung, Mutig, Kreativ.
Wenn du ein Event veranstaltest, bleibt dann noch
Zeit um selbst zu feiern oder heißt das für dich hauptsächlich
Stress und Arbeit?
Wenn im Club die Türen für unsere Events aufgehen
haben mein Kollege und ich Feierabend. Bis dahin ist
Stress und Planung leider unvermeidlich, aber nötig damit
ich mein eigenes Event geniesen kann!
Was machst du wenn es hell ist?
Arbeiten 
Dresscode?
Kein Dresscode! Alles ist erlaubt. Wer auf einer Party
abgehn will sollte nicht auf sein Outfit achten.
Drei überzeugende Gründe weshalb es sich lohnt
beim Opening dabei zu sein:

Uli´s Umzugsreport - Teil 2

We loaded up the truck in the morning by 1 clock. Marc, Katy, and Rohy have held out until the end. Andrew and Jackie worked like mad until 11am. Many thanks to all. I then tried to find some sleep. Angela had a really hard night in front of here, she had to clean the whole flat now and the last bits and pieces she packed up in the morning still had to go on the truck. Hermann the neighbour welded in the evening, the metal strap for the compressed air system.
This was torn apart on our way to Germany. In the morning, at around 8.30pm, we went off at last. I looked like one has not had enough sleep. We went on the trip back to England. I'm already live there, but for Angela it was a back to her home country. We had figured out that we could reach the 8am ferry 56meilen if we go full throttle (roughly about 90 km/h. Unfortunately, we had a traffic jam just before the border in Aachen, Germany. We were still trying to reach the ferry but Holland, Belgium and France had to be overcome. So it was then about 9 am when we arrived at Dunkirk. Now we had to check in. The good thing with a truck is that you don't have to book in advance. The blokes from Norfolk line are not quite the brightest it seems like. You arrive at a kind of counter, where you show all the papers and passports. When they heard we have a cat with us, they told us we have to pay at a different counter in the Norfolk office. So we were given a piece of paper which showed, we presumed what kind of vehicle we have. I couldn't read a word everything was French (or what so ever). The guy calculated the bill and then we thought, well this is cheap. Off course we haven't complained, however. The same bloke still had to assess whether that's the right cat or not, so we went together to the truck. There we walked towards the vehicle the good guy then he noticed a car had been calculated rather than a truck. He then said, in 1 minute he will finish work for today. And so we had quite a cheap and cheerful passage back to England. At 11am UK time are we arrived at Dover. The customs in England were not at all interested in us and we were glad that everything went well so far. We still had a long way to go about 270 miles. We were really tired and just wanted to go to bed. The truck wasn't easy to handle fully loaded especially downhill on which the brakes were no longer the best. It was then about 5pm in the morning when we arrived at Caton. We just parked the lorry on our neighbours ground and had then a lay down for 2 hours.The lorry was actually due at around mid day. The rental company had a understanding for usand without any further problems, we brought the lorry back.
In the next few days, we had a lot to do with pack and unpack and repack. Meanwhile, we have had a visit from Angela's family members. Tina is also well received and now goes to school. Meanwhile I had my first swim in the sea water temperature 15 degrees. Not really warm, but absolutely refreshing. Slowly but surely we have settled ourselves, now we will start house hunting to find a home, and Angelas father's house will soon come on the market for sale.
The weather has also already made his way slowly towards the autumn. But it looks like it could be an Indian summer on the way. So fingers cross for a nice autumn
